Q. What are the human tissues affected by malaria? What are the main clinical manifestations of the disease?

A plasmodium contaminates the human blood causing destruction of RBC (red blood cells) and it as well affects the liver. Malaria classified by periodical episodes of chills, fever and sweating that can be accompanied by headache, nausea, vomiting and jaundice. The destruction of RBC (red blood cells) may lead to hypoxemia and anemia.

The infection by the Plasmodium falciparum if not treated can cause other complications and even death.
