The three significant traits needed for a coach of a cricket team are as follows:
a. Decisiveness: The coach is constantly taking different decisions along with regard to kind of coaching needed, time for resting of players, kind of bowling to be completed at various types of pitches, the batting line up for different matches, etc. thus, the coach has to be able of guiding the captain while taking the right decisions, particularly at critical moments of the match.
b. Maturity: Simply a person who has a reasonable maturity level will be capable to guide and also coach the team players. In the team, will have players belonging to various religions, temperaments and regions. Only a matured coach along with the right attitude will be capable to tackle, inspire and guide these diverse players within action.
c. Popularity: The Coach should be endearing to all the members of the team. It is possible only when he is popular. A very popular coach will be capable to get things completed through the players more simply and effectively.
