Vectors of nested structures:
The Combining vectors and nested structures are possible to have a vector of structures in which several fields are structures themselves. Here is an illustration in which a company manufactures cylinders from various materials for industrial use. The Information on them is stored in a data structure in a program. The cyls variable is a vector of structures, each of which has the dimensions, fields code, and weight. The dimensions field is a structure itself which consists of fields rad and height for the radius and height of each cylinder.
Function Stubs: The other common debugging method, which is used when there is a script main program which calls many functions, is to use the function stubs. A function stub
Example of Vectorizing: Likewise, for an operation on a matrix, a nested loop would be needed; for illustration, supposing a matrix variable mat: [r c] = size(mat); for
Example of sorting strings: To sort a cell array of strings, also the sort function is used. The illustration is as follows, >> engcellnames = {'Chemical','Mechanical',.
Function polyval - interpolation: The function polyval can then be used to compute the polynomial at particular values. For illustration, we could compute at every value in th
Polynomials: Simple curves are polynomials of various degrees, or orders. The degree is the integer of the highest exponent in the expression. The illustrations are as follows
Vectors of nested structures: The Combining vectors and nested structures are possible to have a vector of structures in which several fields are structures themselves. Here i
Example of Functions which return values: Calling this function prints the circumference, since there is no way to store the value, hence, it can be used in following computat
Editor/Debugger: The MATLAB has numerous useful functions for debugging, and debugging can also be completed through its editor, which is known as the Editor/Debugger. Typi
Representing Logical true and False: It has been stated that expressions which are theoretically true really have the integer value of 1, and expressions which are theoretical
Advanced File Input and Output: In that section, we saw how to read the values entered by user using the input as well as the output functions disp and fprintf, that shows inf
