Vectors of nested structures:
The Combining vectors and nested structures are possible to have a vector of structures in which several fields are structures themselves. Here is an illustration in which a company manufactures cylinders from various materials for industrial use. The Information on them is stored in a data structure in a program. The cyls variable is a vector of structures, each of which has the dimensions, fields code, and weight. The dimensions field is a structure itself which consists of fields rad and height for the radius and height of each cylinder.
Example of Mode When no value appears more often than any other, the smallest value in the vector will be the mode of the vector. >> shortx = [2 5 1 4]; >> mode(shortx
Properties of the text box - graphics objects: By using get will show properties of the text box, the illustration is as shown below: >> get(thand) BackgroundColor
Median The median is defined only for a data set which has been sorted first, that means that the values are in order. The median of a sorted set of data values (n) is defined
Example of Vectorizing: Likewise, for an operation on a matrix, a nested loop would be needed; for illustration, supposing a matrix variable mat: [r c] = size(mat); for
Working of Editor and debugger: Editor/Debugger, or commands can be typed from Command Window. For illustration, the dbstop command below will set a breakpoint in the fifth li
Mode The mode of a data set is the value which appears most often. The built-in function in a MATLAB for this is known as the mode. >> x = [9 10 10 9 8 7 3 10 9 8 5 10];
Rectangle - graphics objects: The other core graphics object is the rectangle that can have curvature added to it (!!). Merely calling the function rectangle without any argum
Core Objects: The Core Objects in MATLAB are the very fundamental graphics primitives. The description can be found under the MATLAB Help: Under the Contents tab, click the Ha
