Triode Mode
When VGS > Vth and VDS < (VGS - Vth)
The transistor is turned on, and a channel has been created that allows current to flow in between the drain and the source. The MOSFET operates such as a resistor, controlled by the gate voltage that relative to both the source and drain voltages. The current from drain to source is modeled like:
ID = μn Cox W/L ((VGS - Vth) VDS - V2DS /2)
In which μn is the charge-carrier effective mobility, W is the gate width, L is the gate length and Cox is the gate oxide capacitance per unit area. The transition from the exponential sub threshold region to the triode region is not as very sharp as the equations suggest.
how does it work explain with figure?
Limitations: 1. Silicon transistors do not function at voltages much higher than about 1,000 volts (SiC devices can be worked as high as 3,000 volts). In difference, electron
Low Pressure Gas Hazards : Safety screens and wire-mesh guards should be placed round evacuated glassware and safety goggles or a face shield must be worn against the possibility
Both DTL and TTL are based on the saturating BJT inverter. The transistor acts as a switch that connects or disconnects the collector and emitter. The switch is closed when suffici

Measures for Improving Joints and Connection 1. Spacing of poles: The spacing between poles (for overhead lines) is also an important requirement. Long spans will result in
The subject of electrical measurements is such a large one that entire books have been written on the topic. Only a few basic principles will be introduced here. Practical measurem
