Linear Equalizer and Decision Feedback Equalizer
Simulation and Performance Comparison
In this project , performance of decision feedback equalizer is analyzed, simulated and compared with that of linear equalizer for a given channel model. In doing this the project should mainly focus on the superiority of the decision feedback equalizer over linear equalizer in the sense that the MSE of DFE is close to the noise floor , while that of LE is bounded to Le bound .Of course , this true only when SNR is high enough such that decision error is small.
