The Ordinate Dimension Command
We can use The Ordinate command to annotate co-ordinate points with X or Y values. This might be useful for setting-out on site plans.
Ordinate Default Ordinate Ydatum
In the above Figure ,the building corner on the left side has been annotated with X and Y ordinates using the basic default method. The one on the right has a Y ordinate which has been forced to be displed in a vertical position using the Ydatum option. You could also use the Text or Mtext options to clearly describe the point you are annotating.
