Spectrum of data pulses, Other Engineering

Assignment Help:

Spectrum of Data Pulses

As the waveform period increases, the fundamental frequency of the spectrum decreases and the harmonics become more closely spaced.

In the limit, as the time between pulses approaches between pulses approaches infinity, the spectrum becomescontinuous.

A single pulse is periodic and the spectrum cannot be evaluated using the Fourier Series.

Instead the more general Fourier Transform should be used.
