Selection of a training method: the selection of an appropriate method depends upon the following six factors:
1. Nature of the problem area: the choice of the training method depends on the task to be done or the manner in which the people interact with each other, the problem may be either an operational problem of a human relations problem.2. Level of trainees in the organization's hierarchy: the choice of the training method is also depends upon the level of the participants. 3. Method's ability to hold and arouse the interest of trainees during the training period: a trainer has to consider alternative methods of presenting training material to participating also from the point of view of their ability to stimulate interest and facilitate retention of the matter.
4. Availability of the competent trainees: the choice of the training method is as effective as the ability of the trainer. He is the most important figure in the entire training programme. Therefore before venturing into a training programme, we have to first find a good trainer.
5. Availability of finance: Availability of finance is crucial for the many training programme. To make a training programme effective, adequate finance is necessary.
6. Availability of time: training cannot b done in a hurry. Adequate time is necessary to make a training programme a success.
