In the prokaryotes,  RNA transcribed  from protein-coding  genes or messenger  RNA, mRNA,  need  little  or  no  changes  prior  to  translation.  In reality, several mRNA   molecules   start   to be translated   even   before   RNA   synthesis   has finished. Furthermore, ribosomal RNA (rRNA) and transfer RNA (tRNA) are synthesized as precursor molecules which do require post-transcriptional process
