Responsibilities for the human resource planning:
Human resource planning is the responsibility of the personnel department. The personnel department's responsibility is to recommend relevant personnel policies is to recommend relevant personnel policies in respect to the human resource planning devise methods of procedure and determine the quantitative aspects of human resource planning. Geisler has enumerated the responsibility of the personnel department with regard to human resource planning in the following words:
1. To assists counsel and pressurize the operating management to plan and establish objectives.
2. To collect and summarize data in total organizational terms and to ensure consistency with long range objectives and other elements of the total business plan.
3. To monitor and measure performance against the plan and keep the top management informed about it.
4. To provide the research necessary for effective man power and organizational planning.
