Purpose of the privatisation of public sector undertakings:

There have been purposes which have undermined the value of the public sector units into our country. There has been a continuous raise of budgetary deficit that has given increase to inflation. Non-plan government, non-development expenditure is also increasing. Because public sector undertakings contribution to that expenditure is substantial, this is being suggested that they must be transferred to the private sector.
