The non-volatile organic compound's molecular mass can be ascertained by noting either the elevation in boiling point of the solvent like Ebullioscopic method or the depression in freezing point of the solvent like Cryoscopic method generated by dissolving a fixed mass of the substance in a known mass of the solvent.
