Q. Omega-3 Essential Fatty Acids?

Omega-3 essential fatty acids found in flax and cold-water fish help fight inflammation. For a condition such as diverticulitis, it may be wise to eat a diet. Rich in omega-3 fatty acids. This, type of diet may also help prevent colon cancer.

Lifestyle modifications: Obesity may be associated with increased severity of diverticular disease. Hence, maintaining ideal weight for age is beneficial from ail health aspects. Physical activity like jogging and running are beneficial .Exercise also reduces the symptoms of this disorder.
