Nested design, Advanced Statistics

Assignment Help:

Nested design is the design in which levels of one or more factors are subsampled within one or more other factors such that, for instance, each level of a factor B happens at only one level of another factor A. Factor B is said to be nested within the factor A. An instance might be where interest centres on assessing the effect of the hospital and doctor on a response variable, patient satisfaction. The doctors can practice at one hospital only so they are nested within hospitals.
