The Monosaccharides are ketones or aldehydes and commonly have two or more hydroxyl sets. Which are the vital fuel molecules needed through our body and cannot be hydrolyzed to smaller carbohydrates. All the monosaccharides have a general molecular formula (CH2O)n.
