Among the opportunistic diseases that affect HIV contaminated people during the AIDS stage some are: systemic candidiasis and mucocutaneous, Kaposi's sarcoma (blood vessel tumors that result in darkened spots on the skin and internal organs), cytomegalovirus infection, tuberculosis, pneumonia by the fungus P.
