What percentage of traffic will be from mobile handsets? What service is likely to generate the largest revenue? What will be the predominant service in the future?

2. What are the network requirements for such services?

Are there any specific network requirements that are necessary to support these services (eg delay, jitter, packet loss, bandwidth etc) - quantify where possible. What is the most difficult service to transport in the network and why?

3. What are the implications of emerging mobile technologies?

Long term evolution (LTE) is a disruptive mobile technology. Briefly explain its fundamental principles; how it differs from today's 2G and 3G mobile technologies. What services will be enabled by it's deployment. What effect will such a technology have on the fixed network?

Should it be of concern to a network operator?

4. What is Carrier Class Ethernet? Should the company think about deptoying this technology in the core of the network?
