Assignment Help:

What are the most important  properties of permanent magnetic materials? Explain.

The most important properties of permanent magnetic materials are

 (i) Remanence (Residual magnetism(Br):

It is the intensity of the residual magnetism after the magnetism field(H) has been abolished.

(ii) Coercive force(Hc):

It is the resistance of magnetic material to demagnetization by electromagnetic methods.

(iii) Energy product value (BH)max:

 It is a measure of the quantity of magnetic energy stored in a magnet after the magnetising field is abolished.
