Illustrate the structure of SET
SET allows the exchange of data between different CAD/CAM systems and also between CAD/CAM systems and central data banks. It features a much more general data structure than IGES; data is stored in a very compressed form. Thus, the neutral file size is much smaller and the processing time is much shorter than for IGES.
The structure of a typical SET file is shown in Figure. The delimiters of the file are BEGIN and END blocks. The BEGIN section contains administrative data and other information of a general type.
Transformation Hardening The main features of the laser as a heat source for transformation hardening are: (A) Clean energy source. (B) Energy is localised: no heat spillage.
