Illustrate about the term- Hypnagogic hallucinations
Hypnagogic hallucinations (Greek, 'hypnos' meaning "sleep," and 'gogic' meaning "enter into") are episodes of auditory, visual, or tactile hallucination during sleep paralysis as an affected person is falling asleep or waking up. The hallucinations are generally frightening; the person may feel that a monster or something equally terrifying is lurking nearby. A curious feature of the hallucinations is that the person is conscious and often aware of things that are actually happening. These hallucinations may actually be dreams that a person is having while still conscious.
