The human resource refers to any individual serving as a source of information. This can be best illustrated by giving examples. If somebody is doing historical research, the best way to get information will be to go to particular place and talk to older persons of that area. Here the individuals from their memories can give a lot of information. Similarly if some people had witnessed some phenomenon, then they become the best sources of information on that phenomenon. Past history of an organization can be traced by talking to senior and older employees of the company.
