This sub-section deals with composition of human milk, compares human milk with cow's milk and why human milk is preferred and recommended for infants. We will also examine the impact of mother's diet and nutritional status on the quantity (volume) and quality (composition) of human milk. Nature has designed milk to be species-specific.
