Q. What are the conditions required to be fulfilled to sustain the oscillations?
The conditions required to be fulfilled to sustain the oscillations are:
1. The loop gain must be greater than unity at oscillator frequency.
2. After the desired output level is reached, Ab must decrease to 1.
3. At oscillator frequency, net phase shift around the loop must be zero or integer multiple of 360 degrees so that the feedback signal is in phase with the starting infinitesimal voltage.
4. The amount of energy fed back to input must be sufficient to overcome the energy losses in the input circuit.
