Those rearrangement reactions where the migrating group moves to a free radical centre. Free radical substitutions are fairly rare.

In these rearrangement reactions where the migrating group moves to aromatic nucleus. Aromatic compounds of the type (I) ho through rearrangements in the way mentioned below,
