Q. Flange Bevel And Lap Ring Weld?

The fillet weld attaching the lap ring to the shell shall be an equal leg fillet weld, with the leg dimension equal to the nominal shell thickness (+1/16 in (1.6 mm), -0). The difference between the diameter of the flange and the nominal diameter at the toe of the lap ring attachment weld at the back of the lap ring, shall be 1/8 in (3.2 mm) (+1/16 in (1.6 mm), -0).
