Extensive factor of Luria Nebraska procedure

Extensive factor analytic studies have been accomplished, and the factor structure of each of the major scales has been recognized. These analyses were based on item intercorrelations, rather than on correlations between the scales. It is important to note that most items on any particular scale correlate better with other items on that scale than they do with items on other scales (Golden, 1981). This finding lends credence to the view that the scales are at least somewhat homogeneous, and therefore that the organisation of the 269 items into those scales can be justified
