A treaty may also be referred to as a Convention, Protocol, Agreement and Declaration. There are no legal reasons for using different names for it, rather political reasons are there. For example, Simla Agreement, Geneva Accord, Lahore Declaration, and Additional Protocol of Geneva Convention.
