Explain Tocopherols

These are the most widely distributed antioxidants in nature, and they constitute the principal antioxidants in vegetable oils.  A relatively high proportion of the tocopherols present in crude vegetable oils survives the oil processing steps and remains in sufficient quantities to provide oxidative stability in the finished product.
