Explain the vertical implant position, Biology

Assignment Help:

Vertical Implant Position:

The implant can be submerged in the bone up till the level, where it is surface treated or further embedded till its shoulder, depending upon the site of placement.

If it is placed in an esthetic area, implant shoulder should be 1.0-2.0 mm apical to the CEJ of the adjacent tooth.

Height, buccolingual  width   and bone density can be estimated using   Denta Scan. Following types of bone density  has been proposed by Lekholm and Zarb ( in decending order from the most dense to least dense)
