The overall feeling when we communicate with others.
Includes both verbal and nonverbal message
Important foundation of communication
On the job, we need to know how to create supportive, productive climates that foster good work relationships and outcomes.
In personal relationships, we want to develop climates that allow us to disclose private feelings and thoughts without fear of criticism and ridicule.
