Explain Load Flow Analysis
The method commonly used for load flow analysis is the nodal analysis. The nodal analysis method is given in many books on circuit theory and is based upon Kirchoff's current law which state that the sum of all currents entering a node must equal zero. One of the simplest methods in load flow analysis is the Gauss-Seidel method which is described later. There are more powerful methods; e.g. the Newton Raphson method which is used in commercial programmes and provides a solution with fewer iterations but with more calculation at each step. Many variants of these methods are described in the literature.
