Elucidate quota sampling

Quota sampling restricts the selection of sample by controlling the number of respondents by one or more criterion. Restriction generally includes quotas regarding respondents' demographic characteristics (For example age, income, race), specific attitudes (for example quality consciousness, satisfaction level) or specific behaviours (for example frequency of purchase, usage patterns).
