Explain effects of indiscipline.

Effects of Indiscipline: The indiscipline in industry brings in exact adverse effects. These are as given here:-

a) Increase in the given factors:-

i) Absenteeism: Absenteeism on the basis of workers which can be wilful or deliberate and sometimes organised.

ii) Accidents: Accident because of casual attitude of workers and at times wilful or deliberate.

iii) Sick Leave: worker may feign sickness and take sick leave.

iv) Labour Turn-over: The workers leaving the organisation because of disciplinary procedures and adverse organisational environment.

v) Grievances and frustrations: The grievances and frustrations between the workers are bound to result in organised resistance to companies policies.

vi) Waste and Scarp Rate: These could be due casualness in working and at time because of wilful or deliberate acts on the part of workers

b) Decrease in the given factors:-

i) Production: The quantum of output in products or services may decline because of indifferent attitude of employees or because of their deliberate actions.

ii) Product Quality: The reduction in quality could be again because of deliberate actions on the part of employees or because of their indifferent attitude.

iii) Employee Morale: Because of the indiscipline environment/atmosphere, the morale of worker would become low.
