Adverse Effects of Bronchospasm

Nasal and throat discomfort can occur. Bronchospasm, sometimes severe, has been reported uncommonly in patients with reactive airway disease; zanamivir should be avoided insuch patients. It has rarely caused bronchospasm in previously healthy persons with influenza.
