Define the Bioavailability of Vitamins?
The term bio availability refers to the overall efficiency of utilization, including physiological and biochemical processes involved in intestinal absorption, transport, metabolism and excretion of the nutrients. In other words, it is the fraction of ingested vitamins absorbed and utilized for normal physiological functions or storage.
