Congenital Discrete Subvalver Stenosis : The abstraction could be fibrous or fibro muscular. It could be anywhere from just below the aortic cusps upto the level of the free edge anterior mitral leaflet. Usually, the ridge is 2-3 mms in thickness with the ring of obstruction complete or incomplete. The muscular ventricular septum may show varying degrees of hypertrophy.
