Explain about the term holography.
Holography
Holography (through the Greek hòlòs entire + grafè writing, drawing) is a technique which permits the light scattered by an object to be recorded and later reconstructed than it appears as when the object is in similar position relative to the recording medium as this was when recorded. The image changes like the position and orientation of the viewing system changes within exactly similar way as when the object were still present, therefore making the recorded image (hologram) shows three dimensional. There holograms can also be made by using other kinds of waves.
The method of holography can also be used to optically store, process and retrieve information. When holography is commonly used to exhibit static 3-D pictures, this is not yet possible to produce arbitrary scenes by a holographic volumetric display.
