Discuss the Carnot cycle of operation and reduce the expression for efficiency. Carnot engine is works on the principle of Carnot cycle made up of four stages are represented as shown in (PV) diagram.
1) Isothermal expansion (LM): The gas is permitted to expand isothermally. During the expansion gas absorb an amount of heat Q1 from the source at T1.
(2)Adiabatic expansion (MN): The gas is permitted to expand adiabatically till the temperature of gas falls to T2, the temperature of the sink,
(3) Isothermal compression (NO): The gas is compressed slowly at constant temperature T2. During this method a certain amount of heat Q2 is rejected into the sink,
(4) Adiabatic compression (OL): The gas is further compressed adiabatically till it returns to its initial state L. The cycle of operations, LM, MN, NO and OL is known as the Carnot cycle. It is shown by the closed loop LMNOL.
State concept of Charging by conducting Charging by conducting - transfer of charge among two objects through contact - objects have similar charge
It is based on the photovoltaic effect. One of the semiconductor regions is made so thin that the light incident on it reaches the p-n junction and gets absorbed. It changes solar
An electric dipole is held in a uniform electric field. (1) Using suitable diagram, show that it does not undergo any translatory motion, and (2) derive an expression for the
A block is considered on a rough horizontal surface. If we give a variable force F on the block and if we enhance the force F continuously then we seem that block remains stationar
Regard as two Styrofoam cups. Each one is on the end of its own neutral slender glass rod which serves as a handle. One of the cups has a fixed amount of positive charge consistent
NEWTON'S FIRST LAW AND INERTIA: All the material bodies possess the property of opposing any alter in the state of rest or uniform motion when some external force is applies up
Questions: A neutral hollow metal ball is on the end of a glass rod consequently that one can move it around easily without touching the ball. A rubber rod is chafed with rabbi
When the two simple harmonic motions have dissimilar amplitudes and also vary in phase but they have the similar periodic time : The resultant curve may be obtained graphically
