Q. Explain about Diabetes Mellitus?

Diabetes Mellitus is a metabolic disorder characterized by chronic hyperglycemia (increased sugar) with disturbances of carbohydrates, fats and protein metabolism resulting from the defects in insulin secretion, insulin action or both.

z their muscle, fat, and liver cells do not respond to insulin normally; or

z it can be due to both the factors too.
