Engine management systems for ic engines, Electrical Engineering

Assignment Help:

In continuation of Part-B, the student is required to configure an engine management system for the proposed engine and produce a report including the following:

  • A preamble to engine management systems for IC engines (objectives, functionalities and main features are expected to be discussed in detail.)
  • Suggested configuration of the system showing major inputs and outputs with the description of the engine management system ( a block diagram with the detailed description is expected)
  • Discussion on how suggested EMS manages various functionalities during the engine operation. (Provide flow charts, diagrams, etc. to explain the control functionalities of the EMS). Critical analysis of how the EMS ensures that the engine operates in compliance with the pollution control requirements.

The student is also required to comment on the benefits he/she got through the module delivery and extent to which the module learning outcomes have been met.
