Figure states energy differences for the combustion of hydrogen, an exothermic chemical reaction. The combination of oxygen gas and nitrogen gas to form nitrogen monoxide is an example of an endothermic reaction:

Answer:

Note that in an endothermic reaction, the energy of the products is bigger than the energy of the reactants. The opposite was true for an exothermic reaction.
