What is the difference among cryptogamic and phanerogamic plants?

Cryptogamic (hidden sex organs) plants are those that do not show flowers or seeds. They comprise the bryophytes and the pteridophytes.

Phanerogamic plants are those having seeds. They include the gymnosperms and the angiosperms.
