The input to coding phase is the SDD document. In this stage, design document is coded according to module specification. This phase transforms SDD document into a high level language code. At present major software companies adhere to some well specified and standard style of coding known as coding standards. Good coding standards improve understanding of code. Once a module is developed, a check is carried out to confirm that coding standards are followed.
