Determine the efficiency of bell coleman cycle, Mechanical Engineering

Assignment Help:

(a) Derive a mathematical expression to determine the efficiency of Bell Coleman Cycle.

(b) A dense air refrigeration cycle acts between pressures of 4 bar and 16 bar. The air temperature after heat rejection to surroundings is 370C and air temperature at exit of refrigerator is 70C. The isentropic efficiencies of turbine and compressor are 0.8 and 0.85 respectively.

Calculate compressor and turbine work per TR; COP; and power per TR.
