Write the velocity relationship in orthogonal cutting. A bar of 75 mm dia. is reduced to 73 mm by a cutting tool while cutting orthogonally. If the mean length of cut chip is 73.5 mm, Determine the cutting ratio if rate angle is 15o, what is shear angle ?
