Determine the amount of air circulated per minute, Mechanical Engineering

Assignment Help:

An air refrigerator operates between the pressure limits of 1 bar and 5 bar. The temperature of the air entering the compressor and expansion cylinder are 15oC and 25oC respectively. The compression and expansion follow the law PV1.3 = constant?

(a) The theoretical C.O.P. of the cycle.

(b) If the load on the refrigerating machine is 10 TR. Determine the amount of air circulated per minute through the system. Assume actual C.O.P. of cycle is 50% of theoretical C.O.P.
