A sub-culture is an identifiable cultural group, distinct which while following the dominant cultural values of the overall society as well has its own values, belief and customs that set them apart from other members of the same society.

Sub-culture categories are:

Nationality: Indian, Sri-lanka and Pakistan
Religion: Hinduism and Islam
Race: Asian, black or white
Age: young, middle aged and elderly
Sex: Male and Female
Occupation: Farmer, teacher and business
Social class: lower, middle and upper
