Define the pump and motor efficiencies - hydrolic system, Civil Engineering

Assignment Help:

Define the Pump and Motor Efficiencies

Equations account for the loss of power, primarily due to mechanical friction as a result of rotating components in the pump and motor.

Pump efficiency = (whp/bhp) 100

Motor efficiency = (bhp/ehp) 100

Overall efficiency = (pump efficiency)(motor efficiency)  = (whp/ehp) 100
