Define the minimum cardinality of a relationship, Software Engineering

Assignment Help:

Define the Minimum cardinality of a relationship

Minimum cardinality of a relationship is the minimum number of instances of second entity (student, in this case) with every instance of first entity (class, in this case).

In a situation where there can be no instance of second entity, then, it's known as an optional relationship. For instance if a college doesn't offer a particular course then it would be called as optional with respect to relationship 'offers'. This relationship is demonstrated in Figure.
