The management of obesity basically comprises the following three- pronged approach.
a) Dietary modifications
b) Physical activity
c) Behaviour and lifestyle modifications

Some cases where obesity is accompanied by certain comorbidities at higher BMI values, the use of drugs and/or surgery may need to be considered.
